Our Broken Healthcare System

A town hall discussion “Our Broken Health Care System” held March 10th 2009 in Surprise Arizona.

Dr. Jonathan B. Weisbuch, M.D., MPH, FACPM is Founder of Arizona Coalition for a State and National Health Plan and former Director of the Maricopa County Dept. of Public Health. He is a graduate of MIT and Harvard University School of Public Health, teaches at ASU, and Phoenix area Medical Schools, and has worked in various medical capacities around the country since 1964.

Representative Phil Lopes is an Arizona House Representative, author of the Arizona Health Security Act – 2009, and founder of the AZ Health Care Campaign advocating universal access to health services. He was on the faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, a founding faculty member of the UA College of Public Health, and has taught health policy at the University of Phoenix.
